In honor of the upcoming 200th anniversary of Schubert’s Sonata for Arpeggione, D. 821, this recording proudly presents the first recording of this Sonata arranged for flute and performed on original instruments. The instruments on this recording include an 8-keyed Viennese flute by Schemmel c.1820s, a 5-keyed Parisian flute by Clair Godfroy ainé c.1820s, and a Collard & Collard piano c.1830s.
